See what is new to LENS! Software updates for June 2026

Here is what is new in the latest version of LENS (Version v2026.6.0)

Written by Aya Dijkwel

New Features:

Scheduled Archiving for Updates

To help reduce administrative maintenance, Today page updates can now be configured to automatically archive on a selected date. Users can set an archive date when creating or editing eligible updates, and the update will be removed from all associated boards once that date is reached. This enhancement helps keep the Today page current by automatically clearing outdated content.

Standardized Display for System and Facility Announcements

System and facility announcements now maintain a consistent display size and appearance throughout the application. To improve readability and provide a more uniform user experience, announcements use a fixed medium-sized format and no longer include resizing options.

Additionally, announcements can no longer be toggled off. Any existing announcements that were previously turned off have been automatically re-enabled to ensure important communications remain visible to all users.

Existing announcements have been updated to align with this standardized presentation.

New Archive Controls on the Improvement Page

Users with the appropriate permissions can now archive and manage Daily Management cards directly from the Improvement page. A new Archives option has been added to the Daily Management tab, making it easier to view, restore, and manage archived content alongside archived Aims and Measures. This enhancement provides a more consistent content management experience across Improvement and Today pages.

Improved Error Messaging for Email Updates

Enhanced email address validation when updating profile information. Users now receive clear error messages if they enter an invalid email address or attempt to use an email address that is already associated with another account, helping prevent unsuccessful profile updates and making it easier to correct issues before saving.

LENS Read-Only API Access

Organizations can now securely access LENS data through read-only API endpoints, making it easier to build custom reports, dashboards, and analytics workflows.

Available endpoints include data such as:

  • Huddle usage and engagement metrics

  • User and board membership information

  • Voice page data across LENS boards

  • Additional reporting and operational datasets

All API requests require a Personal Access Token (PAT) for authentication. Once API access has been enabled by the LENS Support Team, authorized users can generate a PAT directly from their LENS profile page. Bug Fixes:

Improved Navigation to Linked Voice Cards

Fixed an issue where links to specific cards on the Voice page did not always open the targeted card if it was outside the current view. Users can now navigate directly to linked cards from emails or shared links, with the page automatically bringing the selected card into view and opening it as expected.

Resolved Tooltip and Table Data Mismatch

Fixed an issue where tooltips displayed on measure graphs could show dates and values that did not align with the corresponding table data. Tooltips now accurately reflect the underlying measure data, ensuring consistency between graph visualizations and detailed data views.

Fixed Archiving on Mobile Devices in Voice

Resolved an issue that prevented users from archiving tabs on the Voice page when using a mobile device. The archive action now completes successfully, ensuring tabs can be archived as expected across supported mobile experiences.
