Here is what is new in the latest version of LENS (Version v2026.8.0)

New Features:

New Update Management and Archival Experience on the Today Page

The Today Page now includes a new way to manage and organize updates. From the three-dot menu next to the board’s phone number and email, select “Manage Updates” from the drop-down menu to open the new Updates sidebar. The Updates sidebar organizes updates into three tabs: Pinned, Unpinned, and Archived, making it easy to view and manage updates based on their current status. From the three-dot menu on an update, users can access available actions such as View, Edit, Pin, Unpin, Archive, Restore, or Delete. Archived updates are also labeled as “Auto” or “Manual,” making it easy to identify how each update was archived.

*Updates can now only be accessed and managed from the Today Page and are no longer available from the Admin Page*

Search, Filter, & Sort Updates on the Today Page

The new sidebar also includes search, filter, and sort options to help users quickly find and manage updates. Users can search by keyword, with results displayed across the Pinned, Unpinned, and Archived tabs along with the number of matching results in each tab. Updates can also be filtered by created or archived date and sorted by creation date or title.

Automatically Unpin Today Page Updates

Users can now schedule a pinned Today Page update to automatically unpin on a future date. When creating or editing an existing pinned update, use the Set Unpin Date field to select when the update should automatically move from Pinned to Unpinned.

Duplicating Today Page Updates

Users can now quickly create a copy of an existing Today Page update. From the three-dot menu on an update, select “Duplicate” to create a new copy with the original information already filled in.

The duplicated update will open in the editing view with “Duplicate of” added to the title. Users can make any necessary changes and choose to add the duplicated update to the current board or another board they manage.

Duplicate Daily Management Items

Users can now quickly create a copy of any Daily Management item. From the three-dot menu on a Daily Management item, select “Duplicate” to create a new copy with information from the original item already filled in. The duplicated item will open in the editing view with “Duplicate of” added to the title. Users can make any necessary changes and click Save to add the new item to the associated page. Future archive and unpin dates will carry over to the duplicated item as well.

View Archived Items on the Improvement Page

Users can now access archived Aims, Measures, and Daily Management items from one place. From the three-dot menu on the Improvement Page, select “View Archives” to open the new Archives sidebar. The sidebar will automatically open to the Aims, Measures, or Daily Management tab based on the page currently being viewed.

Users can search archived items by keyword and sort results by Creation Date, Title, or Archived Date. Archived Aims, Measures, and Daily Management items can also be restored or deleted. Archived Daily Management items include an additional Duplicate option from the three-dot menu.

Add User Button for SSO Environments

Systems that use Single Sign-On (SSO) can now add users individually using the new Add User button on the User Management Page. This allows LENS Managers to add users one at a time directly in LENS.

Removing Users from LENS

With the new System Administrator role, users with this role can now remove a user entirely from LENS, rather than removing the user’s access from individual boards. Once removed, the user will no longer be able to log in to LENS. The System Administrator role can only be granted by LENS Support.
