Hardware Installation Instructions
1️⃣ Pull the kiosk computer tray out of the side of the Dell touchscreen and slide in the kiosk computer to prepare it to start plugging in the various cords. Orient the computer so that the power cord (round plug) is oriented on the upper end of the kiosk tray.
2️⃣ Plug in the power cord for the computer and wrap some of the length on the spindles above the computer and snake the rest of the cord out the opening in the plastic tray.
3️⃣ Plug the USB-C to USB-A cord into one of the USB ports in the back of the computer. Plug the USB-A end of the cord into the touchscreen into the bottom most USB-A port that is closest to HDMI 3.
4️⃣ Plug the DisplayPort cable into the touchscreen as shown above. Plug the other end into the DisplayPort in the middle of the computer as shown below.
5️⃣ Plug the Logitech camera into one of the USB ports on the back of the computer.
6️⃣ Plug the keyboard USB dongle into one of the USB ports on the back of the computer.
7️⃣ Plug the Jabra speakerphone into the speakerphone into a USB slot on the front of the computer.
8️⃣ Put the extra cord slack into the empty space in the tray and slide the tray back into the computer.
9️⃣ Place the video camera on the top middle of the screen.
🔟 Mount the Jabra speakerphone with some detachable sticky velcro to the wall below the screen.
1️⃣1️⃣ Turn on the Jabra speakerphone. If the battery is dead plug it into a USB port on the computer to power it up. To power on the device press your finger on the power area on the edge of the device as shown in the picture below at about 6 o’clock.
1️⃣2️⃣ Be sure that Bluetooth is on as well. If there is not a blue light lit next to the bluetooth symbol at 11 o’clock on the picture above hold that button down for a second.
OS Setup
1️⃣ Set the board into tablet mode and set the following tablet settings in Settings -> Tablet
2️⃣ Restart the computer. The computer should now be in tablet mode. 3️⃣ Go to the Settings -> Display and set the resolution to 4k and the zoom to 300% as shown below.
4️⃣ Open the Bluetooth section in Setting
5️⃣ Click on the Bluetooth device section on the popup.
6️⃣ Click on the Jabra device that should appear after a few seconds.
7️⃣ In the bottom of the Bluetooth menu pick Sound settings. If you do not see that option search for Sound in the Settings search bar and click on Sound settings.
8️⃣ On the Sound tab confirm that the Jabra is already the Default Device.
9️⃣ Check input and ensure Jabra is set as the default device.
