⭐️ Capture Specific Roles and Permissions
When Uploading New Users ⭐️
Previously, new users added to LENS could either be considered a 'Manager' or a 'User' when their LENS accounts were initially created. This would determine their access level as well as their roles, such as whether they were set-up to approve Access Requests for their boards.
The Customer Experience team was finding that their were many cases where users would not want that, or another role, toggled on to start off with. We now have the ability to specify exactly which roles and permissions a user should receive when uploading a large amount of new team members to LENS.
🐛 Bug Fixes 🐛
You may have seen in our recent release notes that the Product Team designed and implemented a new structure for the Today Page. This new design behind the scenes allows for a much better experience using the page and improves the load times and responsiveness of the page overall. Along with these exciting changes came some tricky bugs that impacted only some users on some LENS boards. With the help of the users who took the time to report the behavior when they saw it, our team was able to correct issues that caused 'flashing' and 'blinking' that made the page difficult to use without a workaround.
A bug that prevented edits to pinned updates from displaying without a refresh or leaving the page and returning has been corrected. Thank you to anyone who messaged in a report of their experience with this bug!
