Here is what is new in the latest version of LENS (Version v2023.7.0)

Consistent headers throughout LENS

With this new design, the header’s design is consistent across all pages, helping create situational awareness across all pages. With this new consistent design, it is easier to access certain information like the LENS Board’s contact info. The Issues Page will be updated to match soon.

The Issues Page is now faster

The wonderful engineers accomplished some back-end magic to make the Issues Page faster when it comes to using the filters for the issue cards.

“Snackbars” all have an X close button

The small confirmation messages that appear when taking actions across LENS can all be closed with the “X” button. The “Undo” buttons also now consistently behave as expected.

Approval Access notification wording is now more clear

Previously, when an approval access request was already approved elsewhere, an approver would receive a notification saying that the “request expired.” This sounded too much like an error and did not give enough details about the situation. The notification message now says, “This request was approved.”

Bye Bye Bugs

  • Scrolling on the Today Page was temporarily not working. The scroll is now fixed.

  • The “Feature on Today Page” button on measure details was unresponsive. Now the button works as expected.

  • When viewing measure details, the back button did not behave consistently or predictably. Now, the back button will direct to the previously visited page (instead of the Measure’s Tab or Improvement Tab) each time. For those with the Daily Management feature, this improvement applies when viewing measure details from the Daily Management Page as well.
