The theme of this release is scalability and you may notice an updated look and feel to the login pages, board selector pages, and kiosk mode. Below are details.
Login Page Refresh
We have enhanced the visual design of the LENS login page to provide a more modern and user-friendly experience. One notable improvement is the addition of a "show password" feature in the password field, allowing users to see what they are typing for easier and more accurate password entry.
Kiosk Mode Management
We've introduced a design refresh on the Admin page under the Kiosk Mode section to enhance your user experience with LENS. Managers can now see voice cards and Today Page updates in Kiosk Mode. The Today Updates displayed in Kiosk Mode include a thumbnail image and the title of the update for easy identification. Users have the flexibility to remove items from Kiosk Mode; however, it remains a view-only and remove list, meaning you cannot add additional items to Kiosk Mode from this page.
Board Picker Pages
We've made significant enhancements to the Board Picker pages to improve your experience. The updated look and feel provide a more modern and intuitive interface. On the available boards page, we have increased ease-of-use by allowing multi-selection of boards. Users can now select multiple boards, enter a reason, and submit their request all at once. After submission, a clear confirmation message will be displayed to ensure you know your request has been successfully processed.
Leader Rounds Updates
We have introduced the capability for users to add units with names up to 120 characters in length. However, please note that due to the length of these names, they may not be entirely visible in the Table view. Additionally, hospitals often name units with similar prefixes, which can make it challenging to differentiate between options on graphs and mobile devices. To address this, we recommend reviewing the full unit names carefully before making selections.
We have also improved the alignment of the Unit and Date Fields on the Confirmation Page for a more streamlined and intuitive user experience.
Bug fixes
The "paste an image" verbiage has been removed from all attachment screens. Users must now use the file selector to attach images.
Multi-select buttons have been adjusted to no longer display over other elements on the page, ensuring a cleaner and more organized interface.
The terminology on the Profile Settings page has been updated, changing "issues" to "cards" for better clarity and consistency.
