Open Chrome and Navigate to the Website
Launch Google Chrome.
In the address bar, type https://EXAMPLE.safeandreliable.care/ and press Enter to load the page.
Access Chrome’s Menu
Once the website is fully loaded, click on the three vertical dots (⋮) in the top-right corner of Chrome to open the browser menu.
Open 'More Tools' Menu
In the dropdown menu, hover your cursor over More Tools to expand another menu.
Click on ‘Create Shortcut’
From the list of options, click on Create shortcut.
Name Your Shortcut
A small window will pop up asking you to name the shortcut.
You can keep the default name or enter your own preferred name for the shortcut, like "LENS".
Choose the ‘Open as Window’ Option (Optional)
To make the website behave more like an app, check the box that says Open as window. This will open the website in a standalone window without the Chrome address bar or browser controls.
If you want it to open in a standard Chrome tab, you can leave this option unchecked.
Create the Shortcut
Once named, click the Create button.
Locate the Shortcut on Your Desktop
The shortcut for https://EXAMPLE.safeandreliable.care/ will now appear on your desktop (Windows) or in your Applications folder (macOS).
You can double-click this icon anytime to quickly access the website.
Bonus: Pin the Shortcut to Taskbar or Dock
On Windows: You can drag the shortcut from the desktop to the taskbar to pin it for even quicker access.
On macOS: Drag the shortcut from the Applications folder to your Dock for quick access.
Now you’ll have an easy-to-access icon for the LENS app right on your desktop!
