Adding LENS Icon to the Desktop
Placing the LENS icon on the desktop allows you to quickly launch your LENS application without having to navigate around in Edge.
Open the page you want a shortcut to (typically the LENS URL)
Click ⋯ (Settings and more) > More tools > Pin to taskbar
After you've closed the page, Shift-right click on the new taskbar icon and select Create shortcut. Follow the prompt to place the shortcut on the desktop, complete with favicon.
Remove the taskbar icon if you don't need it.
Having Shortcut Run on Boot
You can now take your newly created shortcut and copy it into the startup folder. This will cause LENS to load up automatically each time you boot!
Press Windows key + R from Desktop**.**
Type shell:startup and press ok.
The Startup folder for the logged in user account will now appear.
Copy and paste the shortcut from the desktop that you wish to run automatically at boot.
(Optional step to test) Restart the computer
