Turning off Guest Account

The Chromebox hardware attached to your TV needs to be logged in as the user. This ensures the account will be synced with the latest settings. It will also keep the board from turning off automatically.

To turn off the Guest account type open the Settings screen by clicking on your User Icon in the bottom right and clicking on the ⚙️ settings icon

You can also access settings by typing chrome://settings in the address bar.

In the Settings app scroll to the People section and click on ‘Manage other people’.

You can then uncheck the ‘Enable Guest browsing’ and check the ‘Restrict sign-in to the following users:’ to ensure on the managed account logins to the board.
