Creating a Huddle

Use LENS as a highly visual reminder of your huddle days and times. Post your meeting times on the Today page and plan to meet at the LENS board. If that is not possible, open LENS on a laptop, tablet, or mobile device, and encourage remote participants to join using a dial-in link.

Follow these steps to create a new huddle:

  • Navigate to the Admin page from the expanded sidebar.

  • Select Huddle to expand the Huddle menu.

  • Click Add Huddle to create a new huddle.

Disclaimer: The screenshots in this article were captured using an earlier version of LENS. While some visuals may look different, the overall functionality remains essentially the same.

A new huddle template will appear below any existing huddles. Fill out the following details and click Save when completed:

  • Title

  • Start time

  • Duration

  • Days of the week the huddle will occur

  • End of meeting warnings (optional)

  • Join link (Zoom, Teams, Webex, etc.)

  • Recurring toggle

  • Track in reports toggle

Additional options:

  • Add a default huddle note to prepopulate every time the huddle is run. This can be used as a standard huddle template.

Note: Remember to click Save on the pop-up modal to save the default huddle note!

Your new huddle will display on the Today page according to your settings.
