How to Set LENS Board to Kiosk Mode
Putting your board into Kiosk Mode (screensaver) is good practice for patient-facing areas.
Expand the sidebar by clicking the ☰ three-bar menu icon on the upper left corner
Scroll down and select Kiosk Mode
Click the Today button on the bottom right to exit Kiosk Mode
Disclaimer: The screenshots in this article were captured using an earlier version of LENS. While some visuals may look different, the overall functionality remains essentially the same.
Note: If you see the message "Nothing Visible on Kiosk", this means that no slides have been set to rotate on Kiosk Mode. Cards, Updates, and Aims can be featured on Kiosk Mode.
How to Manage Items in Kiosk Mode
Managers can see voice cards and Today Page updates in Kiosk Mode. The Today Updates displayed in Kiosk Mode include a thumbnail image and the title of the update for easy identification. Users have the flexibility to remove items from Kiosk Mode; however, it remains a view-only and remove list, meaning you cannot add additional items to Kiosk Mode from this page.
Tip: LENS Managers have the option to request a hidden feature for Kiosk Mode. The board can be automatically switched into Kiosk Mode after a certain duration of inactivity. Contact LENS Support if you'd like to implement this feature.
