When will my features be released? How does my LENS version get updated?

The product team at Safe & Reliable Healthcare strives to deliver regular high-quality product releases (updates). Below is an outline of the testing and release management process for LENS.

1. Plan and Build Release

In this first stage, the Product Team determines objectives, requirements, and scope of work level. As the plan evolves, the Software Engineers build the product for release.

2. Test the Release Candidate

Testing includes peer review (amongst engineers), QA testing (both manual and automated), and internal testing (with S&R members in live environments).

This stage allows individuals the opportunity to identify any bugs or issues that arise. If the code is sent back to development from testing, this could take several iterations.

3. Deploy Release

After approval, the release candidate is deployed-- first to our internal Safe & Reliable boards, then to small systems of 20 units or less, onto our medium systems, and finally, our to largest systems. Release notes are published and help articles are written on new features.
