Each board has the option of being provisioned with a generic account that can be used for generic login purposes. This account is ideally used on physical boards that are shared in a common space.

Generic accounts are members but not core users of the board. This means that this account is not counted in reports but can view the various pages across LENS. Generic Accounts do not have managerial access and permissions.

Note: if you submit cards or respond to surveys using the generic account, LENS will only associate your actions to the generic user rather than your personal account. Keep this in mind when posting cards, comments, or survey responses that may need followup or some kind of association with yourself.
