A wonderful way to organize and categorize cards when texting into the LENS board is by assigning a hashtag (#) to a list. This enables users to text to a specific list on their board simply by adding a hashtag to their text message. LENS will automatically add the card to the specified list.

To assign a hashtag to a list, click the three dot menu in the upper right hand corner of the list, directly next to the list name, and select Edit List.

Next, a module will open allowing you to set and save the hashtag you'd like to apply. Enter in a short word or phrase for your hashtag, excluding spaces and special characters. LENS will automatically put the word into lowercase characters. We recommend keeping the hashtag short to make it easy for your team to remember.

After you have saved your hashtag, you can now have people text in to the board using the contact information found in the upper right hand corner. All hashtags must be in the format of (space) #welcome (space) in the message

Don't worry if the hashtag is incorrect or if you forget to put a space before the # symbol, your message will still be recorded! If the hashtag wasn't quite right or the list's hashtag wasn't set correctly, the message will automatically get put into your default list (which is identified with the symbol shown below):
