Use Hashtags to Direct Texted Cards to Specific Lists
Hashtags are a helpful way to organize cards when texting into your LENS board. By assigning a hashtag to a list, you can send a card directly to that list simply by including the hashtag in your message.
How to Set a Hashtag for a List
Click the three-dot menu next to the list name
Select "Edit List"
In the pop-up window, enter a short word or phrase for your hashtag—no spaces or special characters. LENS will automatically format the hashtag in lowercase.
Tip: Keep your hashtag short and memorable for easy use!
Once saved, your list is ready to receive cards via text using the assigned hashtag.
Sending Cards to a List via Text
To send a card to a specific list:
Include the hashtag in your text message using this format:
#yourhashtag (space)Use the contact information shown in the upper-right corner of your board
If the hashtag is missing, misspelled, or doesn’t match a list, don’t worry—LENS will still capture your message. Cards without a valid hashtag will automatically be placed in your board’s default list, marked with the icon below:
