Create an Update
Quickly add an Update on the Today Page by using the Quick Add button (+).
Navigate to the Today Page.
Click + Add Update.
Enter a title for the Update.
The Update is Pinned to the Today Page by default.
Select Show in kiosk mode if you want the Update to display when viewing the board in kiosk mode.
Select Set max height to adjust the maximum height of the Update when displayed on the Today Page.
If the Update is pinned, use Set Unpin Date to select a future date for the Update to automatically move from Pinned to Unpinned.
Use Set Archive Date to select a future date for the Update to automatically archive.
Use the Boards dropdown to select the board where the Update should be added.
Add and format the content of the Update using the editing toolbar.
Click Save.
Formatting and Adding Content to an Update
Use the editing toolbar to format your Update and add additional content.
Format text using Bold, Italics, Underline, and text alignment options.
Insert images or files, tables, and links directly into the Update.
Use Upload File to upload a file to the Update.
Click More Rich for additional content options, including special characters, videos, and horizontal lines.
Use Templates to add content from an Update template, if templates have been created by your LENS Administrator.
Use the Weather button to insert a weather widget into the Update.
Click More Misc to access additional editing tools, including Undo, Redo, Select All, Code View, Clear HTML, and Help.
From More Misc, click Help to view available keyboard shortcuts.
Tip: Use the Help option under More Misc to view keyboard shortcuts for common editing and formatting actions.
Adding Images, Files, Tables, and Links
Use the editing toolbar to add supporting content directly to an Update.
Click Insert Images/Files to insert an image or file into the content of the Update.
Click Insert Table to add a table.
Click Insert Link to add a link to another resource or webpage.
Click Upload File to upload a file.
Using More Rich Options
Click More Rich to access additional content options.
Available options include:
Special characters
Videos
Horizontal lines
Using Templates and Weather
Additional tools are available on the right side of the editing toolbar.
Click Templates to insert an available Update template.
Templates are only available when they have been created by LENS Support.
Click Insert Weather Widget to insert a weather widget into the Update.
Using More Misc Options
Click More Misc to access additional editing tools.
Available options include:
Undo
Redo
Select All
Code View
Clear HTML
