What Is the Voice Page QR Code?

The Voice Page QR code makes it easier for staff to submit Voice Cards directly from their mobile devices—without relying on SMS.

Board managers can generate a unit-specific QR code from the Admin Page and share it across their unit. Once scanned, the QR code opens a submission page where users can quickly create a Voice Card.

This creates a more accessible and flexible way to capture feedback in real time.

How It Works

After generating a QR code:

  • The QR code is available on the Admin Page

  • It can also be accessed and expanded from the Today Page, Voice Page, and Kiosk Mode

  • Board managers can download or print the QR code for physical posting

To submit a Voice Card:

  • A user scans the QR code using their device camera

  • The submission page opens automatically in their browser

  • The user can choose how they want to submit their card

Submission Options

Users have two ways to submit a Voice Card:

  • Submit anonymously

    • Quickly enter feedback without logging in

  • Log in to LENS

    • Access full card functionality, including:

      • Adding descriptions

      • Assigning team members

      • Applying labels

      • Formatting the card before submission

This flexibility allows users to choose the level of detail and visibility that fits their needs.

Why This Matters

Improved Mobile Experience

Previously, submitting Voice Cards from mobile devices had limitations:

  • Users could not fully format cards

  • Additional steps were required later on desktop

  • Cards were sometimes submitted without key details

With QR codes:

  • Users can complete the entire submission in one flow

  • No need to return later to edit or update

  • Cards are more complete and actionable from the start

No SMS Required

Some organizations restrict the use of personal devices or SMS messaging.

The QR code workflow:

  • Removes the need for SMS-based submission

  • Uses a secure, browser-based experience instead

  • Expands access to more staff across the unit

Note: Post QR codes in visible, high-traffic areas such as nurse stations, break rooms, or team huddle spaces to increase engagement.
